The evaluation of applications for MSME Idea Hackathon 5.0 was successfully conducted on 18th August 2025 through online mode. The session was convened to assess innovative ideas submitted by aspiring entrepreneurs, MSMEs and students for further consideration in the Hackathon.

A distinguished panel of four external experts from diverse domains such as technical, academic, industry, and entrepreneurship joined the evaluation process. The panelists were:

• Imran Yusuf, Chief Operating Officer, STPI, MeitY
• Abhishek Tiwari, Founder, Venture Mozart
• Anshuman Singh, Head CSR, IIT Roorkee
• Sudhanshu Ranjan, Head Incubation, ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida

In addition, the expert committee representative from the host institute, Dr. Vijay Kumar Tewari, has facilitated the evaluation committee meeting.

During the evaluation, 26 applications out of total 65 submissions were recommended for the next stage based on their innovation potential, feasibility, and alignment with the objectives of the MSME Idea Hackathon 5.0.
